About me

If there are two things I would like you to learn about me, they would be:

  1. I love a challenge

  2. I love when people embrace their own brand of weirdness.

More than once in my life, I have looked at the view before me and recognized a world I knew very little about. And I did the only thing I knew to do in such circumstances: I took a deep breath and dove in wholeheartedly, researching, networking, and relentlessly devouring knowledge on the subject. This might explain part of how a young woman from Pakistan, leading a relatively sheltered life, got into mobile game development in the noughts. At the time, the field was globally still nascent, and the players were mostly young men. I loved game development for the challenge, the creativity, and the fact that I love games.

Getting everything I could from the game dev world for almost a decade, I took a hiatus in 2015 to start a family (read: develop my own gaming squad). Now that the players are ready to take on the world independently, I am getting back into the game with a specialization in UX Design. This is a field that has always been intriguing to me, and I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to the tech world once again.
